Takashimaya

Savour an amazing array of festive food delights from 'China in the Square' at Takashimaya Square, Basement 2, until Feb 5.

From culinary treasures like abalone and scallops to sweet treats of crispy love letters, sweet pineapple tarts, egg rolls, nian gao, delicate Kueh Baulu and more, everything you need to complete your Chinese New Year celebrations can be found here.

Tung Lok

Famed for their exquisite cuisine, the Tung Lok group of restaurants is offering a luxury takeout called the 'Tung Lok Treasure Bowl', or 'Pen Cai'. Packed with fresh abalone, sea cucumber, golden oysters, scallops, prawns, pork shank, Bai Ling mushrooms and black moss, the food is presented in a claypot. Pre-order from a Tung Lok restaurant at $198 for a six-person portion and $298 for a 10-person portion.

Park Hotel Group

Enjoy a scrumptious buffet spread at the Grand Plaza Park Hotel City Hall which includes food like shark's fin and crab meat soup, and fresh oysters topped off with Chinese New Year cookies and nian gao. A complimentary platter of yu sheng with ikan parang will also be given to every table.

The buffet, at the Indulge at Park caf?, is on until Feb 21 and costs $30++ for lunch and $38++ for dinner per adult. On Feb 6, 7 and 8, however, lunch will cost $33++ and dinner $42++ per adult. Call 6432-5567 for reservations.
