Whiskey time

It was Happy Hour the day this Whiskey And Chestnut Profiteroles Chocolate Tart arrived at our office.

The smell of whiskey swirled around us as we plucked the plump chestnuts off the top and polished off one, then two, and still more of these soft choux pastry treats.

They are filled with a silky chestnut-flavoured cream spiked with whiskey. Heavenly.

When we had polished off all the choux puffs, we sliced up the dark chocolate tart.

The buttery crust was a delight, the chocolate filling tasting of deep, dark caramel.

One might not be enough.
