Yuzu good

So there's yuzu miso, yuzu soy sauce, yuzu gummy candy and now, yuzu potato chips.

Shaped like tiny Pringles, these ones from Japanese food manufacturer Bourbon are flavoured with shichimi togarashi, a Japanese seven spice powder, made with red chilli, yuzu zest, white and black sesame seeds, Japanese pepper, seaweed and ginger.

The tiny potato chips are nicely crisp and you get little hits of yuzu with each mildly spicy bite.

Yuzu Shichimi potato chips, $2 for a 47g tube, from Yamakawa Super, B1-28B The Central, 6 Eu Tong Sen Street, tel: 6534-9518. Opening hours: 11am to 10pm daily.
