History
A new concept which began last October, it offers sushi at rock-bottom prices in a Marche-style environment where diners can choose cooked items such as grilled salmon from various counters.
Price
From 99 cents for two pieces of unagi sushi to $35 for lobster sashimi.

Taste Test
Although this restaurant has conveyor-belt sushi, none of the tables are placed next to the belt. This means you have to walk over to help yourself to the sushi, which are all priced at 99 cents a plate. In fact, you need to walk each time you want to order food.
That is because there is no menu.
The restaurant comprises various sections, including for grills, tempura and noodles. Other than the sushi, which is ready-made, all the other dishes are represented in placards placed in front of the stations - beside a batch of ice lolly sticks etched with the name of the dish.
To order, you collect the sticks of the dishes you want and hand them to a waiter with your table number.
The selection of sushi is rather limited, and there was no maguro when I was there for dinner.
The salmon sushi and California maki were just passable, with the rice a bit coarse and lightly flavoured. The piece of salmon on the rice was decent, though, for 99 cents.
The soft-shell crab handroll ($2.90) was pretty bland too, with the crab just crispy enough to pass the test.
