The Star

Utusan Malaysia reports that a man in Sibu died on Monday after eating a frog and its eggs, believed to be poisoned.

According to a relative, Katang Rayun and his cousin, Joe Undi, were said to be fishing at a river near their long house when they saw a frog and proceeded to chase it.

Once they caught it, they roasted the frog and ate it, including the eggs.

They started vomiting until they were foaming at the mouth.

They then went to a clinic but Katang, who was in his 40s, died on the way. Undi survived and is being treated at Sibu Hospital.
