Chatterbox moves to Top of the M

From Monday, March 17, fans of Chatterbox's legendary Mandarin Chicken Rice can enjoy a heavenly view while tucking into the award-winning dish.

The famous eatery on the ground floor of Meritus Mandarin will move to the 38th/39thfloor of the Grand Tower of the hotel where the revolving Top of the M restaurant used to be located.

The relocation will allow the hotel to give a facelift to the grand lobby at the SouthTower. Chatterbox's history goes way back to 1971 when the chicken rice was created as one of the dishes in its debut menu. The dish soon became popular - thanks to its widely publicised aromatic rice, specially bred fleshy chicken, special dark soya sauce as well as its chilli sauce and pounded ginger.

Despite its new lofty location, Chatterbox will retain its time-honoured food traditions. You can find old favourites of Chatterbox on the menu like Hainanese-inspired dishes as well as Western colonial and Asian ones.

After about a year at the top, Chatterbox will move again to yet another new location in the hotel as part of its new F & B concept

Penang & Hakka promotion
The restaurant will launch a special food promotion, A Taste of Home: The Penang-Hakka Food Galore with Penang Food Ambassador and local celebrity Moses Lim, from 21 April to 4 May.
