Kicking off the series will be a talk on Growing Roses for the amateur

Date: Feb 23, Saturday
Time: 3 to 4 pm
Place: Multi-purpose room, B1, Central Lending Library
Speaker: Mr Linus Loh

About the talk
Growing roses doesn't have to be a challenge in tropical Singapore. For busy working adults, knowing how to choose the right roses to grow in your own garden is a definite time and money saver! Can't get enough of seeing for yourself those tricks that can improve the growing conditions of your rose plants? Come see a short demonstration that will also guide you step-by-step to picking the correct rose plant and pruning techniques.
At the end of this talk, you'll even be able to recognise and distinguish a grafted from a non-grafted rose plant.
